I think that the old school jazz/packers/oakland a's colors of green and yellow are some of my favorite color combos of all time

crossing my fingers to kill denver tonight, they beat the lakers last night. we are nipping at their heels though. if we can keep this momentum up for the next couple months we will be sitting pretty when it comes to playoff time.
dallas lost last night which puts us 3rd in conference standings. keep it up boys.

AK is so amazing right now, that's another game that I feel like would have gotten out of control if not for his energy. Glad they're still winning, though I'd like to see the defense get a little tighter, feels like they've been getting a little loosey goosey and relying on their offense the last 2 games.

power rankings do seem to be more a popularity contest than a week by week "power" rank of a team. Cavs and jazz are definitely the top two teams right now.
Harlem Globetrotters was pretty fun last night. I'd like to be the ref for those games.

nice of the team to start playing in the forth!
Boozer may credit Price with saving the game, but if he had missed both of those quickly jacked up 3 pointers, Price could have easily sunk us by another 4-6 points...

LA minus Kobe and Bynum was nothing special. The Jazz were just HORRIBLE! We literally couldn't pass the ball without it being stolen, and not because LA was so great, we were just making bad decisions. If we had made 70% of our free throws it would have been a 4 point game.
The. Jazz. Were. Horr. Ible. Last. Night. !.

They shoot so many free throws, if they miss them it just derails their scheme.

This notion that Boozer doesn't show up for the playoffs is retarded. Say what you want about his D, his mouth, or his injuries, but don't let that and commoner garbage get in the way of facts.
'07 23.5 PPG, 12.2 RPG, 2.9 APG, 53% FG
'08 16 PPG, 12.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, 41% FG (this is his down year)
'09 20.6 PPG, 13.5 RPG. 2.2 APG, 53% FG
So out of 3 years, he's been phenomena for two of theml. Where this notion came from that he didn't show up for last year's playoffs is laughable, and apparently '07 never happened. Does anyone remember how insane Carlos was that year, especially when the heat was on most (his game 7 performance in Houston was 35 and 14)?
Again, say what you want about his mouth, his D, and his injury history, but don't let that pollute the rest of the argument.

After that first Houston series, I thought Boozer was a lock for the Hall of Fame and was the eminent next great NBA low-post man. It's almost sad now to look back on it.
