actually they were taken up at alta. i was the 2nd photographer with my friend, for a wedding up there. towards the end of the night, i snuck out back and messed around a bit.

Are you still trying to find the one you want? Or are you waiting for it to get here? I was drooling over the G10 yesterday. For a compact camera that thing is sweet. Fully manual, shoots raw, good lens on it, does time lapse and all kinds of other fun stuff and it's only $500.

Yep G10. For a small camera it is the bomb. The controls are great. Easy to shoot in manual. Little vids are fun and incriminating. The lens is really wide for a small camera and that's important to me. For ski stuff I am missing the 6fps of my 20D though. I don't miss carrying around that 5 pound brick much though.
