These Terms of Service govern your use of The Rock Salt, operated by WasatchWise LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site, you agree to these terms.

Who Can Use This Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use The Rock Salt. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at music@therocksalt.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to The Rock Salt (band profiles, music, photos, event listings, and other material). By submitting content, you grant WasatchWise LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to submit content that:

• Infringes any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• Is defamatory, obscene, or harassing
• Violates any applicable law
• Contains malware or malicious code

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the platform or its community.

Salt Rocks

Salt Rocks is an in-platform currency. Salt Rocks have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are non-transferable. We may modify or discontinue Salt Rocks at any time without liability.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All sales are final unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Spider Network Protocol

Participation in the Spider Network is governed by the Spider Network Protocol. Those terms apply in addition to these Terms of Service.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service to spam, harass, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Scrape or harvest data from the platform without permission
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Create fake or misleading band, venue, or musician profiles

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Rock Salt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WasatchWise LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
